After attaining a degree in radiologic technology at Our Lady of the Lake College in Baton Rouge. I realized I was truly craving a career that would make better use of my creativity and interest in helping people feel their best. I attended cosmetology school at Aveda in New Orleans before moving to Baton Rouge to begin my career at a well-established local salon. After ten years, I decided to step away from the chair for a brief time to focus on raising my daughter. However, my passion for helping people achieve their best looks has never subsided. When my daughter was old enough to begin school, I decided it was time to revisit my passion and search for a work family. As fat would have it, in the summer of 2021, I started working at Eggie Salon. I have since ventured off and opened my own salon, Yara Salon Studio, and created an innovative salon that energizes and inspires me and others every day. I am excited to pass that anergy and inspiration to future stylists and guests and Yara salon.

I am from Pierre Part, La and now I live in Prairieville. I love listening to music and
hanging out with my friends! My favorite colors are all shade pink.

I have a degree in biological sciences and decided switch gears and geek out on hair and it’s the best decision I could have made! I am now a Hairstylist, and I’ve been practicing for 10 years. I am very personable and extremely passionate about doing hair and I look forward to doing yours!
